A plugin update can break the card field, the basket or the Place Order button while every page still loads. Uptime checks only see that the page is up, so nobody notices until the client emails you about the missing orders.

Before any update, PatchSure confirms the site and checkout already work, so an update never gets blamed for a problem that was already there.
Update safely
It saves the current plugin versions, then applies plugin, theme and core updates on your schedule or with one click.
Test the checkout
A real browser goes from product to basket to checkout and confirms the payment fields load. It never places an order.
Roll back and explain
If anything fails, PatchSure rolls back, finds the update responsible, keeps the rest, and explains what happened.

Questions
Does the checkout test place real orders?
No. It goes as far as the payment step and checks that the payment options and card fields load without errors, then stops. It never clicks Place Order, so there are no test orders, stock changes or emails to your client's customers.
Which payment plugins does it understand?
We're starting with Stripe, WooPayments and PayPal Payments. Other payment plugins still get a general check that a payment option appears, the Place Order button works and the page has no errors.
Can every update be rolled back?
Plugin and theme files can. Some big releases, such as major WooCommerce versions, also change the database, and file rollback can't undo that. PatchSure holds those for your approval instead of running them automatically.
Is this a replacement for ManageWP or WP Umbrella?
For updates, monitoring and client reports, yes. The difference is that PatchSure checks shops can still take payments after every update. It doesn't do backups yet, so keep your existing backup tool.
